Do you hate when athletes offer up cliché answers during interviews? Then you'll love the answer that Nuggets point guard Andre Miller gave during an interview recently. He was asked whether or not the Nuggets will be able to win 57 games during the 2013-14 NBA season like they did last season. And he gave one of these answers:

  • "Yeah, I think we can do it. We can do anything we put our minds to if we work together as a team."
  • "You know what? We're not really focused on that right now. We're just going to try and get the season off to a good start and then take things one game at a time and do our best."
  • "As long as we can prevent injuries and work well together, I don't think that will be a problem."
  • "Naw, you know that won't happen again."

So which answer do you think he gave?

Ding, ding, ding! If you guessed "Naw, you know that won't happen again," you win. Actually, we all win, because that may just be the best answer we've ever heard an NBA player give during an interview. It probably wasn't what Nuggets fans wanted to hear. But hey, Andre is just being honest! And we can't even be mad at him for it.
