No surprise there.

Major League Baseball isn't the only professional sports league battling a performance-enhancing drug problem right now. According to Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, the NFL also has many, many players who use HGH. He shot down rumors that he uses HGH but admitted that he does know that there are a lot of other NFL players who do use it.

"You've got HGH, something that doesn't show up on a test, and you've got guys out there trying to provide for their families," Peterson said earlier today. "They're going to try to get that edge, get that advantage, especially if they're not worried about trying to get caught…It's being used."

Peterson added that HGH testing "will bring a lot of people to light." But is the NFL ready for all the negative publicity that comes along with the testing? It's very unlikely they want to bring that kind of attention to the league. So it'll be interesting to see what happens if and when the NFL starts testing for HGH.
