Aaron Hernandez's Former Florida Teammates Wore "Free Hernandez" Hats to a Party Over the Weekend

Not a good look, guys.

None

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will not be happy about this picture.

Even though the league is trying to distance itself from Aaron Hernandez right now in light of the murder charge that he caught recently, two NFL players were spotted with "Free Hernandez" hats on their heads at a party in Miami on Saturday night. Mike Pouncey, who plays for the Dolphins, and Maurkice Pouncey, who plays for the Steelers, were spotted at Cameo nightclub celebrating their birthday and wearing the custom fitteds. It's not entirely surprising, considering that the Pounceys played with Hernandez at the University of Florida when they helped lead the Gators to the 2009 BCS National Championship. But it's still not a good look for either of them.

We wouldn't be surprised at all if Goodell gave the Pouncey brothers a call today to ask them not to wear their "Free Hernandez" hats again. You can't really blame them for staying supportive of a former teammate. But doing it so publicly is not in their best interest or in the best interest of the league that employs them. So we wouldn't expect to see those hats again anytime soon.
