Most Porsche 356 owners tend to be like overprotective parents - they worry about their babies incessantly and will only let them emerge under the most ideal conditions.
For Guy Newmark, who is the proud owner a 1964 Porsche 356C, this is not the case.
Newmark's 356 holds the dubious distinction of being the highest mileage Porsche on the planet. It has an astronomical 980,000 miles on the odometer, according to Newmark.
The car was bought new in California by Newmark's father and has been driven everyday for the past 49 years. Despite 3 engine rebuilds, Newmark says the car is nearly all-original.
“After 45 years of driving, and over nine hundred thousand miles, I still can’t wait to get behind the wheel," he told a reporter from Petrolicious.
