This Electric Superbike Seems Awesome, But Can You Handle the Price?

It's predecessor dominated the world's race tracks.

This all electric superbike, called the Mission RS, is based on the famous prototype that won the 2011 TTXGP electric grand prix at Laguna Seca. Needless to say, it's awesome. The motor puts out a pants-wetting 160 hp, while still managing a range of 140 miles on average or 200 when piloted carefully.

Only 40 will be made, a nod to the prototype's 40 second lead in the 2011 race, and they will each cost a freakish $59,999. If that's a bit too rich for you, a Mission R will follow which should be significntly cheaper.
