An unbelivably altruistic taxi driver in Dubai recently returned a bag stuffed with diamonds, cash and jewelry that he found in the back seat of his taxi on May 25.
For his kindness, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) presented the driver with a small plaque and a firm handshake - and not a dime more.
While we certainly applaud the RTA for publicizing the event, it seems only fair that the driver should have been offered a small cut of the contents of the bag; afterall, he could have kept the whole damn thing for himself!
According to reports, the value of the bag was around 1 million Dirhams, or approximately $280,000.
