Tired of paying out the nose for airport parking? One start-up, founded by a trio of ivy league students, thinks it's found the answer to your problems - it will rent your car while you are gone.
The company is called FlightCar and it lets people parking at the airport rent their vehicles out to other travelers. Each rental is insured up to $1 million, and every renter is pre-screened prior to pick-up. Depending on the type and model year of the vehicle, participants can make up to $20 per day while their vehicle is rented.
The company will also pick renters up from the airport and provide free car washes for people who drop off cars. Currently, FlightCar is operating in San Francisco and Boston, but the company says it has plans to expand nationwide.
Sounds like a deal to us!
