A matte black Lamborghini, believed to be the Gallardo replacement, was spotted testing in Italy yesterday.

Although masked in copious amounts of tape and fake body panels, the new Lambo appears to be a combination of styling cues from the Sesto Elemento and the existing Gallardo model. From what we can tell, the rear air vents have been widened and the front head lights look to be slightly elongated. The windshield also appears to be sloped at a steeper, more aggressive angle.

Lamborghini plans to officially unveil a concept version of the car at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September.
