About an hour ago, we told you that the Aaron Hernandez story is going to get even crazier than it already is over the course of the next couple of days. And guess what? Our prediction is already coming true.

According to a FOX 25 report that just came out a little while ago, police are reportedly investigating the role that Hernandez may have played in a double murder that took place last year. Back in July 2012, two men—Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu—were gunned down inside of a car in Boston shortly after leaving a bar at around 2 a.m. Witnesses apparently told police that an SUV with Rhode Island license plates on it rolled up next to the car and opened fire, eventually killing both men. And a source told FOX 25 that police are looking into whether or not there is a connection between Hernandez and that double murder.

Obviously, we don't want to look too far into this or accuse Hernandez of anything. Police haven't even announced that they're conducting an official investigation into the link between Hernandez and the double murder, so as of right now, it would be foolish to try and make a connection ourselves. But if this FOX 25 story is true, then this story will reach a whole new level of crazy. Continue to stay tuned.
