A young mother in Florida was forced to "shake out her bra" during a recent traffic stop. The incident happened when cops stopped the woman for having a broken headlamp. After running her license, which happened to be suspended, the cops hauled the woman out the car and asked her to lift her shirt, pull out her bra and shake it vigorously. After complying with the officer's orders, she was told to do it again, and then again.
On Wednesday, video of the incident surfaced online (which, naturally, has inspired debate on both sides of the issue). Either way, it seems like the wrong thing to do. If this kind of search is mandatory, it should be done by a female cop and without a male present.
