21. Shaquille O'Neal (2002)
Team: Los Angeles Lakers
Opponent: New Jersey Nets
Result: Lakers over Nets, 4-0
Finals stats: 36.3 PPG, 12.3 RPG, 3.8 APG, 2.8 BPG
While Shaq was notorious for his "on/off" switch, there's no doubt that when the NBA Finals rolled around the big man was always fully engaged. Going against an undersized Nets squad, the Diesel absolutely owned the paint as he shot a ridiculous 59.5 percent from the field. With New Jersey in full-on desperate Hack-a-Shaq mode, the Lakers' center was clutch at the free throw line too, going 45-68 (just over 66 percent) in his team's four game sweep. For Shaq, it was his third straight title and third straight Finals MVP award, joining him with Michael Jordan as the only players in league history to accomplish the feat.
