Montecarlo Automobile Unveils Pagani Wannabe

We still want one.

It seems that we are in the age of supercar - every enterprising car company with a few bucks in the bank is taking a stab at supercar infamy.

Enter Montecarlo Automobile, a Monaco-based manufacturer of bespoke sports cars. Their  latest design, dubbed the Rascasse, is a noble - and somewhat beautiful - attempt at entry into the ultra-competitive supercar marketplace. (Who cares that it looks very similar to the iconic Pagani Zonda.)

Power for the carbon fiber-bodied car is derived from a Rolls Royce Silver Seraph 5.4 litre V12 engine that can rocket the roadster to 60mph in under 3 seconds. The company plans to build 15 examples over the next year. MSRP will be north of $650,000!
