Does Monta Ellis want out of Milwaukee? While it's quite possible that only a few people know the real answer to that question, we got a good idea of Ellis' mindset after a story from the Journal-Sentinel on Friday. According to the report, the 27-year-old shooting guard turned down the Bucks' two-year, $24.8 million extension offer, which would've been included with his remaining one year contract worth $11 million and brought the entire deal to three years for $35.8 million. Not a bad haul for someone we don't even consider one of the most valuable players in the league right now.

You see, there is another option for Ellis besides playing out his remaining one year with the Bucks and that is to opt out by June 20 and become an unrestricted free agent. Amid rumors of a connection with the Sacramento Kings and their new coach Mike Malone, who happened to work with him while playing for Golden State, there is a possibility that Ellis could be westward bound this summer.

If you were in Ellis' shoes, would you stay in Milwaukee or take your talents elsewhere?
