Brooklyn is reportedly interested.

Kevin Garnett is probably not going to play for the Boston Celtics next season. There is a chance he'll stay in Beantown for the 2013-14 NBA season if the Celtics can't find a suitable trade for him. But now that Doc Rivers has departed, the Celtics are going to go through a rebuilding period. And that will begin with them letting guys like Garnett and Paul Pierce go.

If the Celtics are ready to do it, it sounds like the Brooklyn Nets are very interested in making a deal for Garnett. Although they haven't offered the Celtics a trade yet, Nets GM Billy King has reached out to the Celtics to gauge Garnett's interest in coming to Brooklyn, according to the New York Daily News. Due to the recent news surrounding Rivers and the Celtics new coaching vacancy, Boston hasn't provided Brooklyn with a definitive answer yet. But at this point, it's at least something that's being discussed by the two teams.

How do you feel about that, BK? Do you want KG in your corner next season?
