Can you imagine turning on TNT's Inside the NBAand not seeing Charles Barkley and Kenny "The Jet" Smith bantering about the NBA? It might happen next season.

According to CBS Sports, Smith is reportedly interested in possibly becoming the next general manager of the Sacramento Kings. Nothing is confirmed yet. But the former Rockets sharpshooter is meeting with the team about the job and could be interested in taking over the GM duties next season. He doesn't have any experience when it comes to serving as a GM. But asSmith told USA Today, he's been a winner his whole life and thinks he would do well in an NBA front office.

"I've been winning my whole life," he said. "I've been blessed to be a winner. So whatever happens, whatever I do, I'm going to win an Emmy next year or I'm going to try to win an NBA championship...I'm a winner. I've been blessed in my whole life, so I think I have a clear vision."

That's exactly what the Kings need right now—a winner with a clear vision. So it'll be interesting to see whether or not they ultimately decide to hire Smith for the GM position.
