At this point, we've all had more than enough time to fully digest the Q&A that Kanye Westdid with the New York Times recently. We've even pointed out a few of our favorite sports-related moments from the Q&A. But there's one thing that still has us scratching our heads.

Towards the end of the interview, 'Ye talks about the influence that he's had on the world over the course of the last decade or so. He mentions how he's released a number of culturally important albums and points out how he's been connected to some really influential artists in recent times.

"I've been connected to the most culturally important albums of the past four years," he says, "the most influential artists of the past ten years. You have like, Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, Henry Ford, Howard Hughes, Nicolas Ghesquiere, Anna Wintour, David Stern."

So they don't really fit into the "most influential artists of the past ten years" conversation. But where the hell does David Stern fit into this equation?! Sure, he deserves respect for what he's been able to do with the NBA. But was this really the right time for Kanye to give it to him? Hmmmm…
