Colts Safety Joe Lefeged Arrested on Gun Charges

This hasn't been the best summer for the NFL.

Commissioner Roger Goodell must be livid at this point, because there's been numerous NFL player arrests these past two months. They include (but are unfortunately not limited to) Mike Goodson's drug and gun charges, Ausar Walcott's attempted murder charge, and Aaron Hernandez's now infamous murder charge.

The latest is Joe Lefeged's arrest on multiple gun charges in Washington D.C. The Colts safety was in a vehicle with another male when a police attempted to pull the two over because the male's erratic driving. Instead of doing the reasonable thing, the driver sped off and started a car chase. The police eventually caught them and found a handgun in the vehicle.

So yeah, it's been a rough summer for the league and there's still quite a few weeks left before season kickoff.
