The Lamborghini Urus SUV has been confirmed for production, which means that one percenter soccer moms, wealthy lunatics, and rappers will have a new SUV to drive irresponsibly around town. It's going to be great.
While no real details of the beast are known yet, we do know that it will almost definitely be built on the Volkswagen Group's MLB platform that will also underpin the next generation Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne. Nobody knows what will be powering the Urus yet, but Auto Express seems to think it will be a 4.0L V8 combined with a pair of electric motors for a grand total of 650 horsepower.
Expect the Urus to coust around $200,000 when it goes on sale in 2017
