Insane Heli-Cycle Debuts In Prague

We never thought we'd see the day.

If the Wicked Witch Of The West lived in modern times, she'd probably be rockin' this unbelievably insane heli-cycle.

Designed and built by several Czech companies, the 220-pound flying bike debuted at a tech conference in Prague last week, carrying a test dummy for a 20-minute, remote-controlled test flight. According to the bike's designers, power to the propellers is supplied by six battery packs mounted below the rider's seat and maximum ride time is approximately 35 minutes.

While the version that was shown in Prague is only prototype, designers plan to build several "human-carrying" versions by the end of the year.
