Indiana is Officially Okay With LGBTQ License Plates

In a move that nobody predicted...

None

In January of 2012, Indiana Youth Group, a not-for-profit organization that helps LGTBQ kids navigate through life, filed to offer a specialty license plate through Indiana's BMW. While a group of legislators tried very hard to keep the plates from becoming a reality, based on an accusation that IYG had given some away, rather than selling them, and then by attempting to eliminate the specialty plate program entirely. Yes, Indiana conservatives are that weirded out by the fact that, sometimes, two dudes can really like each other.

Regardless, IYK has, with the help of the ACLU, prevailed, and now one can choose to support the organization by purchasing this license plate with a bunch of little gay arms reaching out from some sort of pit. Perhaps the pit represents this teacher's classroom.
