Global Rallycross has a lot of potential to become huge, and even overtake the giants that are IndyCar and NASCAR, especially with younger audiences, but the sport has been held back by the fact that there wasn't a clear way in. Now, with the introduction of the spec GRC Lites class, there's a proper feeder series.
Global Rallycross has now announced where the GRC Lites will race in 2013, so if you're wanting to see them, mark your calendars:
- July 11: New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Loudon, NH
- July 20: Bristol Motor Speedway, Bristol, TN
- August 4: X Games Los Angeles, Irwindale, CA
- August 10: Atlanta Motor Speedway, Hampton, GA
- September 22: Charlotte Motor Speedway, Concord, NC
- November 7: Las Vegas, NV
