Last night, Gennady Golovkin defeated Matthew Mackin, improving his record to a perfect 27-0, in spectacularly painful fashion. In the third round, Golovkin delivered a left hook to the body that immediately sent Macklin to the mat. Macklin stayed on the mat for several minutes as his bodily organs tried finding their rightful places. Ouch.
