A former first-rounder who never quite panned out in the NBA, LeRon Ellis played a few non-consecutive seasons in the league but mainly spent his time playing overseas. The younger Ellis has also had some run-ins with the law.  LeRoy Ellis on the other hand was a career NBA man, drafted sixth overall out of St. John's, Ellis went on to have a lengthy stint in the league that saw him capture an NBA championship with the Lakers in '72.
