Ranking the Best Father-Son Teams in NBA History

4. Jimmy Walker and Jalen Rose

Career stats: Jimmy Walker: 16.7 ppg, 3.5 apg, 2.7 rpg / Jalen Rose: 14.3 ppg, 3.8 apg, 3.5 rpg
Career years: Jimmy Walker (1967 - 1976), Jalen Rose (1994 - 2007)
Accolades: Jimmy Walker: 2x NBA All-Star (1970, 1972) / Jalen Rose: NBA Most Improved Player (2000)

It's no secret that two-time All-Star Jimmy Walker had virtually nothing to do with Jalen Rose's upbringing, although you could make the case that he gave him the greatest gift ever, the inherent skill to dominate on the basketball court. Rose dominated at the University of Michigan with the Fab Five in the early '90s, and he would go on to have a lengthy career around the league. You can now find Jalen on ESPN, looks like things didn't turn out so bad in the end. Here's to silver linings.
