Does Elon Musk ever sleep? Is he perhaps a cyborg sent from the future to save the human race from itself?
Along with his duties at Tesla, SpaceX and SolarCity, Musk has been secretly working on a futuristic mass-transportation system call the Hyperloop. According to reports, the technology would enable commuters to travel from Los Angeles to San Francisco in under 30 minutes.
Details are extremely limited, but most tech experts think the Hyperloop will be some sort of magnetic levitation device capable of speeds in excess of 300mph. According to Musk, he anticipates the Hyperloop to eventually reach speeds in excess of 3 to 4 times the speed of the Bullet Train!
On Friday, Musk announced he would be releasing more details about the Hyperloop following a June 20 Tesla press conference.
