R.I.P. Tebowmania!

Earlier today, Bill Belichick did a nine-minute press conference that, by our count, featured a gazillion and one questions about Tim Tebow, who agreed to sign a contract with the New England Patriots yesterday. It also featured a gazillion and one non-answers from Belichick, who refused to give any insight into what the Pats will use Tebow for during the 2013-14 NFL season. Here are just a few of Belichick's answers (*yawn*) from the press conference:

"Anything we do is what we think is in the best interest of the team."

"Tim's a talented player who's smart and works hard."

"We'll see how it goes."

"We try to do what's best for the team."

"We'll see."

"I don't know."

"We'll see how he does and we'll go from there."

"Anything else?"

"SERIOUSLY, GUYS, ANYTHING ELSE? ANYTHING ELSE AT ALL? DOESN'T ANYONE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS COOL JACKET THAT I WORE FOR TIM TEBOW'S FIRST DAY?"

Okay, okay, so we made that last one up. But you get the point. No matter what questions were asked about Tim Tebow, Bill Belichick more or less refused to answer them. And those are the kinds of answers that we should all expect moving forward, too. The media will not break Bill Belichick!

So yeah. R.I.P. to Tebowmania. It was fun while it lasted.
