A six-time Vezina award winner, that's best goalie between the sticks for those keeping score at home, Domink Hasek has lifted the Stanley Cup twice during his NHL career. He became the first European starting goaltender to win in 2002 and he matched his feat six years later by lifting the Cup in his final NHL game in 2008. Once heralded by Wayne Gretzky as, "the best player in the game," Hasek was one of the best net-minders the modern game has seen. At the time of his second Cup triumph and retirement he was 43 years old.
