VW Is Working on a 503 HP Golf for the Wörthersee Festival

Yes, that's a 186 mph VW Golf.

Every year VW hosts the Wörthersee Fesival, which is a celebration of all things Golf; yes, the Scirocco and other Golf-based cars can come too. And while the customized cars that Golf owners and tuners bring are always fantastic, the star of the show is always the over the top custom Golf brought to the show by Volkswagen. Hell, we're all still talking about the W12 powered Golf from 2007.

This year, VW is going to bust out a concept that will not only preview the styling of future GTIs, but will also be powered by a 503 hp 3.0L twin-turbo V6 TSI. The company is claiming 3.9 seconds to 60 mph and a top speed of 186 mph, all in a package with all wheel drive, five seats, and a very practical hatchback.

We're just saying, if VW were to actually make this thing, it might just be the ultimate jack-of-all trades car.
