This Is the Dumbest Car-Related "Crime" Ever Posted on a Police Blotter

Why were the cops even called for this?

None

It appears as though police in San Jose, Calif. and the surrounding suburbs have a lot of pretty crazy car crimes that they have to deal with on a regular basis. From carjackings and drive-by shootings to vandalisms and car thefts, there's a little bit of everything listed in their most recent police blotter. But you'll also see the dumbest car-related "crime" of all time on there as well. Nestled between a series of very serious car crimes is this "criminal" activity that took place last Friday morning in Foster City, Calif.

"Police responded to Bowditch Middle School," the blurb reads, "where a student was refusing to get out of her father's vehicle and go into school."

Uh, what? A student was refusing to get out of her father's vehicle and go into school AND THE POLICE WERE CALLED?

SMH. From the daughter who refused to get out of the car to the father who called the cops on her, this was a fail across the board. Entertaining, for sure. But still a fail nonetheless.
