Third Grader Used NHL Player's Name to Answer a Math Question

Smart girl.

We're all about helping the kids out over here. So, next time you take a math test, just remember that 3x2 = LeBron, 1+1 = Jeter and 7x5 = Durant. Maybe it's not the most solid advice on our end, but it could help you get an A+ on your next exam, like it did for third grader Maggie Ciara.

Recently, Maggie's mother posted on Facebook the test of her Columbus Manor Elementary School daughter, who answered the "9x9" question on her exam with "Hossa," a reference to the Blackhawks' Marian Hossa who wears No. 81. While the answer was essentially correct, her teacher Christine Mech circled it, asked "What is this?", but still gave Maggie credit. Check out a shot of the answer in the thumbs.
