While he ultimately failed to stop the Lakers from knocking off his Warriors, Sleepy Floyd at least forestalled the inevitable with a record-setting performance in Game 4 of their Western Conference Semifinal series. After averaging just under 15 points per game over their first three matchups, Floyd erupted for 51 points (including 12 straight field goals in the fourth quarter) as he single-handedly prevented a sweep at the hands of their in-state rivals. He holds a number of playoff records that still stand, including points in a quarter (29) and a half (39).
