A classic duel played out between former F1 champion Emerson Fittipaldi and the up and coming Al Unser, Jr. With a six-lap lead on the rest of the field and the white flag in sight, Fittipaldi made his move, clipping Unser, Jr. in the process. Little Al spun and cracked the wall, giving the win to Fittipaldi. The Brazilian driver was the first foreigner to win at Indianapolis since the British invasion of the '60s. If you are a fan of carnage, make sure to check out Kevin Cogan's crash on YouTube where he hits everything but the pace car and manages to walk away.
