We have to be honest here. When Snoop Lion's son Cordell Broadusreceived a football scholarship offer from UCLA last summer, we thought it was a publicity stunt. Because UCLA also extended a scholarship offer to Diddy's son Justin Combs just a few months before reaching out to Snoop's son, we figured the Bruins were just trying to build a buzz around their football program by recruiting rappers' kids. But as it turns out, we were wrong. Really, really wrong.

As you can see in the clip below, Cordell—who plays wide receiver for Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, Calif.—has skills:

And as a result of those skills, LSU just offered him a scholarship. He still has about two years to decide where he wants to go to school. But it's clear that he's got some options out there. And it's also clear that, regardless of where he goes, we're going to be hearing more above Cordell in the near future. Stay tuned.
