Did you forget that Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Robert Guerrero are set to fight on Saturday night? If so, we don't blame you. There are a lot of other things going on in the world of sports right now. And, to be honest, this fight doesn't seem to have the buzz surrounding it that most of Mayweather's other recent fights have had.
Yesterday, Guerrero's dad Ruben Guerrero attempted to do something about that. During a press conference in Las Vegas, he took the podium and referred to Money Mayweather as a "woman beater" not once, not twice, but half a dozen times over the course of about 30 seconds. It made things really tense and almost caused a fight to break out between him and Floyd Mayweather Sr.
Luckily, no punches were thrown and the press conference proceeded as planned. But if this doesn't get you excited for the Mayweather/Guerrero fight, nothing will. See you on Saturday night, guys.
