After losing a heartbreaking game seven to the Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn will be looking to continue building their franchise and finding a new head coach. The Nets announced interim coach P.J. Carlesimo will not be returning as head coach next season. This comes after leading the team to a huge improvement from last season's 22-44 finish.
Carlesimo took the reins when Brooklyn fired Avery Johnson after a 14-14 start and a 5-11 December. The Nets won 10 of their first 12 under Carlesimo and went 35-19 to end the season.
So if Phil Jackson has any second thoughts about his new job, there's a position open here.
