New York Knicks Targeting Game 3 Return For Amar'e Stoudemire

STAT could be back next week.

New York Knicks head coach Mike Woodson says that Knicks big man Amar'e Stoudemire could be back in the mix for their second round matchup against the Indiana Pacers as soon as Game 3 next Saturday. Stoudemire has been recovering from right knee surgery that occurred about two months ago.

The Knicks recently advanced to the second round for the first time since 2000, and many speculate whether Stoudemire could alter the Knicks' chemistry in a negative way. New York was 16-13 when Stoudemire played this season, and 38-15 without STAT in the lineup.
