Former two-time NBA All-Defensive First Team and All Star Mookie Blaylock was involved in a car crash that has him on life support this Friday afternoon.
The 46-year-old was driving northbound on Tara Boulevard in Georgia when he crossed into the southbound lane and collided head-on with another vehicle. Blaylock's car burst into flames on impact. Three people were injured in the accident.
Blaylock and another woman were airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center. Blaylock is currently unresponsive, while the female is in critical condition.

UPDATE: Reports are saying Blaylock is off life support, but remains in guarded, but critical condition.
UPDATE: Pearl Jam sent its blessings to Blaylock last night in a tweet. The band was originally called "Mookie Blaylock" before the guard asked for the name to be changed. Ten, Pearl Jam's seminal album, was named after his jersey number.

UPDATE: Blaylock has been upgraded to serious condition, but according to USA Today, he may be facing charges for driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain control of the vehicle. There was also an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court for a DUI and drug charge.
