This is one of the craziest Ferrari crashes we've ever seen. The horrific accident happened when a Ferrari 458 Challenge, driven by Shigeru Teragima, spun wildly out of control while participating at a challenge event at the Suzuka Circuit in Japan
According to reports, the $350,000 supercar was traveling at speeds in excess of 150mph when the tires lost grip around a turn, slamming the car head-first into a safety barrier.
Inexplicably, both the driver and the racing steward who was standing nearby, somehow survived the crash; Teragima was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and the steward escaped with only a few cuts and bruises.
The car, however, was picked off the track with shovels and a backhoe.
