Does this year's Warriors team have the "greatest shooting backcourt" ever? Golden State head coach Mark Jackson sure thinks so. He's said it before. And, after last night's 100-91 win over the Spurs, he said it again when asked about his sharpshooters Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
"I said I've got the greatest shooting backcourt that's ever played the game," he said. "Call my bluff."
Do you agree? Curry and Thompson are both still young, so they need to stay consistent over the next few seasons in order to be put into the G.O.A.T. conversation when it comes to shooting. But, at this very moment, after seeing what Curry and Thompson have been able to do so far in the playoffs, you won't get an argument from us. Those two are on fire right now.
