A 30-year-old journalist slammed a new Lamborghini Gallardo 560-4 against a wall while on a press trip in China. It appears that both the engine and trunk (which is in the front of the car) were completely removed during the crash, but the cockpit was left completely intact.

The car, valued at around $550,000 (or 3.3 million Yuan, because of a china-only price), was the all-new, face-lifted version of the Gallardo, dubbed the Nova. From what we can tell, it will likely be headed to the auto shredder instead of back to the dealership for repairs.

The driver, escaped with no injuries but will probably be seeking new employment after this debacle.
