Holy $^%&, where does the time go?!

Most of us here at Complex remember seeing the movie Hoop Dreams when it first came out back in 1994. The flick, which focused on the NBA dreams of high school ballers William Gates and Arthur Agee, was and still is one of the best sports documentaries of all time. So imagine our surprise when, earlier this week, Yahoo! Sports blog The Dagger ran a feature on Williams Gates Jr. He's a high school senior right now and is planning on attending Furman University next year to play ball. That's right—one of the guys who had "hoop dreams" now has a son who is old enough to follow in his old man's footsteps.

It hasn't been easy for Gates Jr. though. For years now, he's struggled with the pressure that comes along with having a famous father. But he's forged his own path and will ultimately see just how far he can take his own hoop dreams over the course of the next four years. You can check out The Dagger's profile over here. Just make sure you're prepared to feel old the entire time you're reading it.
