Do you want to own a piece of NBA history? Former Minneapolis Lakers star Elgin Baylor is giving you the opportunity to snatch something up.

Earlier this week, Baylor teamed with Julien's Auctions to begin selling off 358 of his most prized possessions. From awards that he won way back in high school to his 1971-72 NBA championship ring, Baylor is getting rid of just about all of his memorabilia. And the best part is that he's not doing it because he's having money problems. Rather, he wants his fans to get the chance to own a piece of his history.

"I'm constantly getting calls from people interested in my stuff," he said, "and I finally thought, 'It's time.' I've had some of these things for 60 years. It's time to share some of them with the fans who have been so wonderful to me."

Interested? Then head over here on Friday to place a bid on one of Baylor's many items.
