We see lots of cool stuff listed in auctions as being "New in Box," but we've never seen a NIB car before. This second world war Willys Jeep, however, was found in its original shipping crate 30 years ago, and it being auctioned off this weekend at the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance.

When one looks closer, however, it gets a little shady. The crate is nowhere to be found, and it was just repainted, even though it's all original. Cool stories increase value, and getting rid of the evidence of your cool story makes us think you're full of shit.

So what we have to say about this is "pics or it didn't happen."
