Roman Weidenfeller save from earlier turned out to be for naught as Bayern Munich came out on top in the battle of the two German powerhouses. The favored Bayern took the Champions League Final, 2-1.
The match was tied 1-1 going into the final minutes when Arjen Robben scored in the 88th minute to break Dortmund's hearts.
Bayern's win avenges its home loss against Chelsea at last year's final.
