Tesla Sold 100 Cars To Zappos Founder Tony Hsieh

It's the largest single purchase in the history of the company.

Tony Hsieh, CEO of shoe giant Zappos, has announced that his new venture, Project 100, will buy 100 Teslas for its Las Vegas installation. For a monthly subscription fee, users will be able to borrow a Tesla Model S and ride around town in style.The deal represents the single largest order in Tesla’s history.

As a side note, Tesla recently announced that it expects profitability in the near future, which caused its stock to jump nearly 20% on Monday.
