Rick Pitino is going to make good on the promise that he made to his players prior to them winning the national championship on Monday night. He's going to get a tattoo on his left shoulder as a reminder of what his Cardinals were able to do this season.
"I said it…not believing this was going to be a reality but I am going to get it," he said recently. "I'm a man of my word."
Sooooooo…What is the tattoo going to be? Barbed wire around his bicep? Tramp stamp on his lower back? Scripture on his forearm? Nope. Instead, he's getting a picture of a cardinal on his left shoulder with the words "2013 Champions" underneath of it.
Aw, how cute.
