People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is currently looking to purchase a network of drones that would track the whereabouts of hunters, the organization said Monday.

The group says it will soon acquire a fleet of sophisticated robotic flyers that will be able to film illegal hunting activity and relay locations and digital recordings to local law enforcement.

According to reports, PETA will not be able to begin flying its drones until it obtains a certificate of authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a process which usually takes several months.
