This one-off 1975 Maserati Merak is easily one of the most interesting custom builds we've ever seen. Designed by tuner shop Carrosserie Saurer in Switzerland, the Merak underwent a complete restoration in 1985 and was also fitted with bespoke aluminum bodywork and 12 and 15-inch Gotti 3-piece split rims.
The Merak is set to hit the auction block May 17 as part of Silverstone Auctions' annual Trophy Sale. The company estimates the car will be sold for $50,000 to $60,000.
