Are any NFL teams besides the San Francisco 49ers going to make deals to improve their teams this offseason?!?
Just a few weeks after adding wide receiver Anquan Boldin to their squad—and just hours after trading for backup QB Colt McCoy—the Niners have reportedly agreed to a contract with former Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha. The deal is for one year and will pay Asomugha up to $3 million, but none of that money is guaranteed due to a provision that Asomugha himself had put into the contract.
Does that mean he's going to be extra motivated to play next season? For the sake of the rest of the NFL, we sure hope not. Otherwise, we may as well just crown the Niners world champs now.
