Lakers Admit to Accidentally Displaying a Backwards Shaquille O'Neal Jersey During Retirement Ceremony

In the midst of all the pomp and circumstance (and some possible tears, don't judge us!) that went along with the retirement of Shaquille O'Neal's No. 34 Lakers jersey, there was one huge oversight: the gigantic Shaq jersey (no pun intended) hanging in the rafters is backwards. As you can see in the thumb, the jersey displayed the back with the name and number, however, the v-neck collar is actually associated with the front. Once the discovery was made, Lakers spokesman John Black made the following statement: "The oversight will be corrected and a new jersey put up as soon as possible."     

Psh. We sure hope so. Guess we need to ask where does this fail rank in their franchise history?
